Western Albemarle's Daniel Kuzjak and Tommy Mullin Sign Football NLI

Posted: Updated:

Western Albemarle High School football standouts Daniel Kuzjak and Tommy Mullin both signed National Letters of Intent Friday to play football in college.

Kuzjak signed with William and Mary.  Mullin signed with Randolph Macon.

Kuzjak was voted First Team All-State last year at wide receiver.  He had 10 touchdowns and 971 yards receiving.  He'll likely play wide receiver at William and Mary.

Mullin was voted Second Team All-Region last year at linebacker.   He led the team with 86 tackles and two interceptions, one returned for a touchdown.

The guys are best friends and have pushed each other competitively the last four years at WAHS.

Kuzjak says, "We've always pushed each other, playing every sport we could. Tommy used to play baseball. I used to play baseball too. We've always worked hard together on the field and off the field in everything we do."

Mullin says, "we're in the weight room all the time together. We push each other on the field making jokes about whose better and stuff like that. We always get at each other on the field as well so it's a good relationship we have."
