Albemarle County Supervisor Chris Dumler is turning to legal tactics to fight for his job.
Dumler's attorney has filed papers asking a judge to throw out the petition to have him removed from office. Dumler says the petition isn't specific enough.
Dumler pleaded guilty to misdemeanor sexual battery in January and refused to step down from his position on the board. He is being targeted by voters who say his guilty pleas should disqualify him from office.
