A private custodial company wants to take on the task of keeping Greene County Schools clean.
At Wednesday night's school board meeting, Southern Management proposed the idea. The company claims the school system could save up to $200,000 annually if it takes on a specific plan.
Southern Management also offered to hire on the current custodial staff.
Greene County School Board Chairperson Michelle Flynn says a lot of research must be done before considering the plan or making any decisions.
