Monticello High School Hires Jeff Woody as New Football Head Coach

Monticello High School has hired Jeff Woody to be its new head football coach.  Woody has spent the last eight years as the head coach at Brookville HS in Lynchburg.  He led the Bees to the state championship the last two years.

Woody has a record of 40-2 over the last three seasons.   He had a record of 81-22 during his eight seasons at Brookville.

Woody will replace Rodney Redd at Monticello who left earlier this year to be an assistant coach at Virginia State.   

Woody will officially be introduced as Monticello's third head football coach in school history at a press conference Friday at 3pm.
