UVA Scores Five In the 9th To Beat Wake Forest

Mike Papi hit a two-out grand slam in the top of the 9th inning, as the #4 UVA baseball team rallied to beat Wake Forest 7-6 in Winston-Salem.

Virginia scored five times in the final frame.

Kyle Crockett struck out the side in the bottom of the 9th to earn the save.

The Cavaliers (28-3, 10-3 ACC) are undefeated in ACC openers this season.

UVA and Wake Forest will play Game Two of the series Sunday at 1pm.
