The Waynesboro baseball team beat Wilson Memorial 4-2 during wintry weather Thursday in Waynesboro.
The Hornets were trailing 4-2 in the top of the 7th inning, when Damon Frazier smacked a double through the snow and off the wall in left, scoring Hunter Carr and Brandon Poole to tie the game.
However, the umpires huddled soon after that, and decided the snowy conditions had gotten too poor for the game to continue.
The decision to call the game during the top of the 7th wiped the Wilson Memorial runs off the board, and gave the Little Giants the win in six innings.
Waynesboro scored all of its runs in the first two innings of the game.
