Wednesday night at the University of Virginia, Darden Library and Saunders Hall were evacuated after reports of smoke in the library.
The call came in around 6:35 p.m. When fire crews arrived, they didn't find any fire. But after searching for more than an hour, their investigation found an electrical fan that had seized to be the cause of the smoke.
The evacuation was lifted around 9 p.m. There were no injuries and no damage to the building.
