Bella's Restaurant Donates to MS Association, Local Wrestling Club

Posted: Updated:

A Charlottesville restaurant is celebrating its one-year anniversary with a big thank you to the community.

To mark the milestone, Bella's Restaurant is donating a portion of last weekend's gross income and a number of donations to charity.

On Monday, the restaurant presented $2,340 to the Multiple Sclerosis Association and Cavalier Wrestling Club.

"I chose MS and Cavalier because my sister, my older sister Debbie, has MS so we're looking for a cure for that so it's very dear to my heart. And, I was a very big wrestler in New Jersey which really helped me growing up right outside Manhattan to have a lot of respect for one-on-one type of competition," said Douglas Muir, restaurant owner.

Some of the money will go toward stipends to help children go to the Cavalier Wrestling Club's summer camp.
