#9 UVA Women's Lacrosse Falls To 0-4 in ACC; Loses 10-7 To Boston College

Posted: Updated:

The #9 Virginia Women's Lacrosse team dropped its fourth ACC contest as they fell 10-7 on the road at Boston College.

Caroline McTiernan netted two goals early in the second half to tie the game at 4-4 but the Eagles went on a 5-0 scoring streak to help ice their 10-7 victory.

McTiernan and Ashlee Warner both led the 'Hoos with 2 goals a-piece.

This marks the third time this season Virginia had less draw controls then their opponent (BC 10 - UVA 7).

Boston College also won the ground ball battle 14-8 over the 'Hoos.

With the loss, the Cavaliers drop to 6-6 and 0-4 in the ACC with only one regular-season conference contest remaining - the season finale on April 17 against Virginia Tech.
