Orange County Woman Pleads Guilty to Forging Public Records

Posted: Updated:

The former secretary to Culpeper's chief of police has pleaded guilty to one charge of forging public records.

Bethany Sullivan, of Orange County, forged a police entrance exam for an applicant that was not hired.

The guilty plea has nothing to do with her son, former town police officer Daniel Harmon-Wright, who was found guilty of voluntary manslaughter earlier this year.

Sullivan could face up to 10 years in prison and a $100,000 fine.
