Bounce-n-Play Fundraiser Proceeds go to Child with Cancer

Posted: Updated:

More than 250 came out Tuesday to support a beautiful little girl fighting cancer. A bounce-a-thon raised money to help 2-year-old Sophie Vincent in her fight with a stage 4 brain tumor.

Bounce-n-Play in Charlottesville donated its facility for the fundraiser and kids were able to play for $5 with all proceeds going to the Vincent family to help with medical expenses.

Sophie's mom, Jenna Vincent, says she is overwhelmed to live in a city where the community cares so much.

"I am just completely blown away. It's amazing. I'm really grateful for all the support and it's a huge turnout; I can't believe it," Vincent said.

Organizers say they have raised more than $7,000 for the family.
