The managing director of the University of Virginia's Miller Center will become Longwood University's new president.
W. Taylor Reveley the Fourth will begin his new duties at the Farmville campus on June 1.
Longwood's previous president resigned last summer because of health problems. Reveley was a business attorney before joining UVA.
His father is president of the College of William & Mary. Reveley's grandfather served as president of Hampden-Sydney College.
