Those living in Albemarle County might notice a slight drop in their water bill during the next fiscal year.
The executive director of the Albemarle County Service Authority says the county is using built-up reserves from developer fees to help lower the cost. He says there are also fewer water-related projects in the works.
If the Board of Supervisors adopts the budget proposal in June, the average single-family customer will see a 1-percent decrease in water bills.
