Charlottesville's Building Goodness Foundation is in need of a few "STUDs."
The nonprofit kicked off its "STUD" campaign at Cappellino's Crazy Cakes on the downtown mall.
"STUD" stands for Spectacular, Tremendous, Unrelenting, Die-hard supporters. BGF is looking for new donors who will give a set amount of money monthly.
"It was a no-brainer for us. I mean, once they told us what it was about we thought it would be great and partner and give back to the community and do whatever we can as well," said Dotty Cappellino, co-owner of Cappellino's.
Those wearing a BGF shirt got a free cupcake Friday.
The organization helps communities from our own backyard to Haiti and beyond.
