Changes are on the way for the Old Trail neighborhood in Crozet.
Thursday night, the community association met to discuss some of those changes, especially the new hotel that is scheduled to break ground soon. The 46-room hotel will be built next to the senior community in the neighborhood.
Some have already voiced concerns about the hotel but others say it will help boost the economy.
"I think it really helps all of the community. Any positive well-planned growth can be looked at as a positive for the community," said developer David Hilliard.
The expansion also includes new commercial buildings and additional townhomes. The hotel is scheduled to open in January 2015.
