1 Charged with Reckless Driving after Accident in Madison

According to the Virginia State Police, an accident involving two trucks happened at 8 a.m. Tuesday morning in Madison County on Northbound Route 29 at Route 626.

Police say Bowman, driving a 2000 Freightliner, hit a 2006 Freightliner that was stopped at the traffic light and went off the road.

Hurbert Bowman, 61, of New London, NC, was charged with reckless driving.

There were no injures.
