Massanutten Extends Ski Season One Day

HARRISONBURG, Va. (AP) - Massanutten resort is giving skiers an extra day to hit the slopes.

The resort was scheduled to close Sunday. It extended the ski season a day after receiving a couple of inches of new snow on Sunday. More snow is expected Monday.

Ski area Director Kenny Hess tells the Daily News-Record that three lifts will be open Monday, providing access to 11 trails.
