Charlottesville's top student musicians spent Sunday playing for an enthusiastic audience at the Wednesday Music Club's Winner's concert.
The concert kicked off the 90th season for the Wednesday Music Club.
"This is such an incredibly talented community and to see these children starting at 8 and 9 and 10 and then you see them in high school and what they can accomplish, and the goal of Wednesday Music Club is to foster this enthusiasm and to support it," said Linda Smith, president of the Wednesday Music Club.
This year, the Wednesday Music Club awarded about $10,000 worth of competition prizes and tuition and camp scholarships to the 14 winning soloists.
