Scottsville Man Charged with DUI after Truck Flips

A Scottsville man is charged with DUI after a crash Monday night in Albemarle County.

Police say 29-year-old Derrick Ray Robertson was driving under the influence when his pickup truck crashed and flipped over on Green Creek Road near Scottsville. The crash happened around 6:30 p.m.

He was air-lifted to the University of Virginia Medical Center in serious but stable condition.

Albemarle County police say this is Robertson's second DUI offense.
