The UVA softball team hit three home runs, but lost both games of a doubleheader against Georgia Tech Saturday at The Park.
UVA lost Game One 7-3, and Game Two 5-2.
First pitch was moved from noon to 2pm due to wet field conditions.
Megan Harris and Karli Johnson each hit home runs in Game One.
Johnson gave UVA a 1-0 lead with a solo home run in the 2nd inning, but the Yellow Jackets scored seven unanswered runs, including four in the 5th inning.
Harris' two-run home run in the bottom of the inning were the final runs of the game.
Kristen Harris hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the 7th inning for UVA's only runs in Game Two.
Virginia (8-10, 0-2 ACC) and Georgia Tech wrap up the series Sunday at noon at The Park.
