A winery and vineyard in North Garden is being honored for its romantic atmosphere.   

Pippin Hill Farm and Vineyards has been chosen as one of the top 50 most romantic wedding venues in the United States by Bride's Magazine. 

Lynn Easton Andrews, co-owner of the winery, says it took a long time looking for the perfect property to open Pippin Hill - but it was worth the hunt.

"It really looks like a lovely old barn, it has this wonderful patina to it on the outside all of our furnishing are custom made and also have sort of a weather distressed look and so it just really feels like it has a sense of place," said Andrews.

Pippin Hill is the only winery on the East Coast to make the top 50 list.
