Shots Fired on UVA Corner

Bullet hole in Mincer's window

University of Virginia police are investigating reports of shots fired on the UVA corner Friday morning.

Police say around 1:45 a.m. three shots were fired near Elliewood and University Avenue. Police say a man with a gun ran from the scene.

Two shell casings were recovered and there is a bullet hole in the front glass of Mincer's.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 434-977-4000.
