East Rockingham Girls Advance to State Finals

The East Rockingham County HS girls basketball team beat Castlewood 63-32 Thursday in the Group-A Division I state semifinals to advance to Friday's state finals.

Madison Comer led East Rockingham with 15 points. Katie Dofflemeyer had 14 points.

The Eagles will face Altavista at 2pm Friday at the Siegel Center in Richmond in the state finals.
