Staunton Homeless Shelter Prepares for Winter Weather

Staunton, VA – The Valley Mission has been busy working on a renovation to make more space available for homeless families, while still providing shelter space for individual men and women. With the looming weather reports, we are preparing to have an additional family space available as well as several bed spaces in the men's dormitory. Our meals will continue for residents as well as for any in the community who need a meal during breakfast, lunch and dinner- no matter how much snow falls. If you know of someone in need of shelter, please call our office at 886-4673 first to confirm if bed space is available.
