Fluvanna County football star Dashon Tibbs signed his national letter of intent Monday, March 4, 2013 to play at the University of Richmond.

"Its been my number one since probably 10th grade. I went to some camps, I got to see their campus. I've been on three unofficial visits, I love the coaches. It just feels like another home," said Tibbs.

Tibbs racked up 1,800 yards rushing and passing this past season as a dual threat quarterback.

Tibbs said he'll make the switch to wide receiver as a Richmond Spider.

He added, "In high school I played quarterback but they want me to switch to wide receiver. I think that will be a good transition because I will be able to find the holes...just being able to run the routes and catch the ball is the big thing."
