Friday H.S. Basketball State Tournament Scores & Highlights

The William Monroe boys basketball team beat Northumberland 74-44 in the VHSL A Division 2 State quarterfinals Friday at the Siegel Center in Richmond.

The Dragons will play the winner of Gate City and Graham in the state semifinals Thursday at 9pm.

The 4-seed St. Anne's-Belfield girls lost 70-21 at Paul VI in the VISAA Division I semifinals.

The top-seed Miller School was upset 51-49 by Norfolk Christian in the Division II semifinals.
