Harrisonburg Police Arrest Two Suspects on Drug Related Charges

Harrisonburg Police Department
Press Release

On March 1, 2013, at approximately 1130 hours officers of the Harrisonburg Police Department responded to the 200 block of Rockingham Drive in the attempt to locate a Jai E. Williams and an Erica R. Whitlow. Both subjects were wanted on outstanding felony and misdemeanor drug charges. Officers responded after a citizen reported seeing these two suspects enter a residence on the 200 block of Rockingham Drive.

Officers made several attempts to contact Williams and Whitlow at the reported location, but both suspects refused to answer the door. A short time later, officers obtained a search warrant, and with the utilization of the special weapon and tactics team, officers entered the residence, found and arrested both suspects without incident. Because the suspects had evaded arrest since mid February and were wanted on felony charges, officers secured areas of Rockingham Drive until the situation could be resolved.
