STAB and Miller Girls Advance in VISAA State Tournament

The St. Anne's-Belfield and Miller School girls basketball teams both won their first round games in the VISAA state tournament.

The Saints are the #4 seed in the Division I bracket, and beat Cape Henry 46-44.

Sophomore Lexi Mallory had 11 points, while freshman Ashley Taylor added 10.

The Mavericks are the top-seed in the Division II bracket, and cruised past Eastern Mennonite 70-23.
