UVa sophomore Sarah Imovbioh scored 18 points, grabbed a career high18 rebounds and added a career high five steals but it wasn't enough as Virginia lost its fourth straight game 73-68 in overtime to Wake Forest.
UVA Head Coach Joanne Boyle said, "We keep reliving the same horror film, you know? We keep reliving it. We had the effort tonight but we have to be smarter. I said you guys - you have to value those possessions if you get eight possessions or six possessions. You get an illegal screen, you get an offensive foul, you give two of them away...Then we put ourselves back into that situation."
Ataira Franklin had 15 points for Virginia. Virginia also got a career high 10 points from freshman Jaryn Garner. The 'Hoos allowed Wake to shoot 49 percent from the field. Virginia falls to 7-9 in the ACC, 15-12 overall.
Virginia's next game is Thursday at NC State.
