Obama to Visit VA in Push to Avoid Sequestration

President Obama is coming to the commonwealth next week to urge Virginians to push Congress to make a deal to avoid sequestration.

The president will visit Newport News Shipbuilding, a company dependent on defense spending that would see severe cuts if a sequestration deal isn't secured.

NBC affiliate WAVY-TV is reporting the president is planning to make the visit on Tuesday.
