The William Monroe boys basketball team beat Strasburg 74-50 Wednesday night in the Region B, Division 2 Tournament.

The Dragons received a team-high 21 points from Jeff Early, while Markell Williams added 18.

WMHS is the top seed in the tournament, and will take on #4 seed Stuarts Draft Friday at 7pm at Madison County High School.

The Cougars advanced past Clarke County 95-84.

Buckingham County is the #2 seed.

The Knights came from behind to beat Goochland 50-47 in Buckingham.

Cam Johnson scored a game-high 20 points for the Knights, while Timothy Randolph added 14.

Buckingham will play Dan River in the Region Semifinals Friday at 7 pm at Cumberland High School.
