UVA Men's Basketball Drops Heartbreaker to Miami 54-50

The UVA men's basketball lost a thriller to Miami 54-50 at Coral Gables.

The 'Hoos were down by three and Evan Nolte nailed a vital 3-pointer to tie the game at 50-50.

With just 5.7 seconds remaining, Miami's Shane Larkin connected with Reggie Johnson by the basket for an easy lay-in.

Following a Virginia turnover, Durand Scott added two clinching free throws with 4.1 seconds to go for the Hurricanes.

Virginia's Joe Harris led the 'Hoos 16 points and 7 rebounds.

The 'Hoos will return to action Sunday when they host Georgia Tech at John Paul Jones Arena.
