Virginia Men's Lacrosse Slams VMI 18-4

The Virginia men's lacrosse team improves to 2-0 as they pounded VMI 18-4 at Klockner Stadium Tuesday night.

Mike Cockerton led the 'Hoos with 6 goals and 5 ground balls.

The ACC Offensive player of the week, Virginia's Nick O'Reilly netted 3 goals and added an assist.

First year starting goal Dan Marino had 3 saves and only allowed one goal.

Virginia hits the road to take on Stony Brook Saturday at noon.
