UVA Baseball Home Opener Changed To Monday

The #25 Virginia baseball team will play its first home game of the season Monday at three o'clock at Davenport Field.

That's a change from the original home opener, which was scheduled for Tuesday against William & Mary.

With Game 3 of the series at East Carolina canceled due to foul weather Sunday, the Cavaliers (2-0) added a game against Saint Peter's for Monday.

The 'Hoos scored 27 runs in two games at ECU this weekend.

Virginia will begin its 15-game homestand Monday at 3 pm at Davenport Field.
