The Albemarle girls basketball team lost 73-46 against Colonial Forge in the AAA Northwest Region / Commonwealth District championship game.

The Patriots boys fell 71-45 against North Stafford in the AAA Northwest Region / Commonwealth District consolation match.

The Stuarts Draft boys beat Riverheads 73-70 in the A Region B/Shenandoah District Semifinal, and will play Page County in the finals, after the Panthers beat East Rockingham 56-54.

The Miller School boys basketball team lost 42-41 at Liberty Christian Academy.

The Bulldogs B.J. Farrow hit two free throws with no time left on the clock to win the game for LCA.

Farrow led all players with 14 points.

The Mavericks are now 13-9.

The Miller School girls lost 54-31 at Liberty Christian.
