VA Department of Housing Grant to Revive Old Cassco Ice Plant

A large amount of money is going to a valley business hoping to spur economic growth.

The old Cassco Ice Plant in Waynesboro is getting a $300,000 grant. The Virginia Department of Housing grant will help give the vacant building new life.

Blue Springs Development plans to turn the dilapidated seven-story structure into contemporary housing with a rooftop restaurant.
