School Anti-Bullying Policy Bill Before Senate Committee

The Virginia General Assembly is working to address bullying in schools this session.  

The bill passed the House of Delegates earlier this month, and is now before a Senate committee. House Bill 1871 would define bullying in the Virginia code, and require school boards to implement anti-bullying policies.

It's an idea supported by members of both parties, and the governor's School and Campus Safety Task Force.
