State police say a Greenville woman admitted drinking vodka while driving, just before a crash that killed a passenger.
That testimony came Tuesday during a hearing for 38-year-old Rebecca Wilder. Police say Wilder failed a sobriety test after crashing into a utility pole along Greenville School Road in October.
The crash killed 51-year-old Kenneth Asbury of Staunton.
An Augusta County judge certified a manslaughter charge against Wilder. A grand jury will hear the case in April.
