Buckingham Knights Advance in James River District Tournament

The Buckingham County High School basketball team got 16 points and 10 rebounds from Cam Johnson in beating Randolph Henry 86-46 in the first round of the James River District Tournament.

Buckingham improves to 20-1 with the win. The 86 points was the most Buckingham has scored this season. The Knights led by 22 at halftime. Timothy Randolph and Leon Ragland each had 11 points for the Knights.

Buckingham advances to face Cumberland Wednesday in the district semifinals.
