A man accused of stealing a car with two young children inside last September entered guilty pleas Monday. Jeremiah Scott Martin, 36, pleaded guilty to four felonies, including two counts of child endangerment.
Prosecutors say Martin, of Harrisonburg, took a car from a Weyers Cave gas station while the owner was inside the store. Inside were a two-month-old and a one-year-old. Neither child was hurt, even though the ensuing chase reached speeds of 100 miles per hour.
Martin will be sentenced in May.
