A day-long conference brought together top female power players from central Virginia's business world. The Omni Hotel in Charlottesville hosted 260 people for the sixth annual Quadruplicity Conference on Monday.
The Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce puts together the networking and leadership development sessions to empower women to find quadruple success in career, life, money and health.
"I think it's really important to bring everybody together, because everybody has a different suggestion or experience that they can throw in the mix and help someone else to get where they want to be," said Maggie Hutchinson of Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce.
The conference handed out its first "Q" award Monday afternoon to United Way community initiatives director and former Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport executive Barbara Hutchinson.
The conference ends at 6 p.m.
