The Virginia women's basketball team swept the season series from Virginia Tech, as the Cavaliers beat the Hokies 50-47 Sunday in Blacksburg.
UVA was down by as many as eight points in the second half, but held Tech to just 2 points over the final 4 minutes in the come from behind victory.
Telia McCall and Ataira Franklin each scored 12 points for Virginia, while sophomore Sarah Imovbioh had 8 points and 12 rebounds.
The victory snaps a two game losing streak for UVA, and is the team's 14th straight win against Virginia Tech.
Virginia returns to action Thursday at 7 pm at Boston College.
