A Highland County felt-maker is sharing her talent and passion with artisans in Staunton.
Lisa Jacenich set up shop in a downtown space on Saturday to show and sell her homemade treasures.
She makes the felt fabric out of wool fibers - with water, soap, and agitation. The material is then woven into products including dresses, paintings and lampshades. Jacenich is also sewing on felt hearts to show her love for the wearable art.
"It's all about the love really," Jacenich said. "The love that goes into making the product, the love while you feel while you're wearing it, and the love that you then extend to all the people you come in contact with, that you're sharing this artwork with as you're making your way through the day."
The show has been extended into Sunday.
