Delegate Dickie Bell (R) met with his constituents in Staunton Saturday morning to talk about the General Assembly session reaching the crossover point for bills.
About 20 people attended the town hall meeting at Mrs. Rowe's restaurant. Bell says he tries to update people at home about what's happening in Richmond and ask for their input on important issues.
"The budget is central to everything and everyone will be impacted by the final budget," Bell said. "Right now, essentially we have three budgets - we have the governor's, which has been amended by both the House and the Senate. We've all got to get together in the next couple of weeks and try to get one that's in the best interest of everyone in the commonwealth."
Bell says he looks forward to taking the feedback he gathered Saturday back to General Assembly.
