Woman Charged with Distributing Marijuana

A 32-year-old Culpeper woman faces a felony drug charge and five counts of contributing to the delinquency of her five children following a police raid early Thursday morning.

Soncerae Colclough, of the 600 block of Willis Lane, faces a felony distribution of marijuana charge and five misdemeanor counts of contributing to the delinquency of her five children who lived with her. The children range in age from two to 12 years old.

Members of the Culpeper Street Crimes, comprised of members of the Culpeper Police Department and Culpeper County Sheriff's Office, executed a search warrant on Colclough's apartment shortly after midnight.

Police recovered about a pound of suspected marijuana, packaging materials, scale and about $700 in cash. The suspected marijuana was located in the bedroom of the twin two-year-old children.

Child Protective Services was contacted and the children were released to family members. The investigation is continuing.
