"Creature Walk" at UVA Showcases Student Artwork - NBC29 WVIR Charlottesville, VA News, Sports and Weather

Large creatures will be roaming around at the University of Virginia Thursday night.  

UVA students have been building the creatures for months with the help of several artists in residence.  Thursday, they will debut the pieces of art with a 'creature walk.' 

"We have a lot of patterns, and we're doing a lot of cutting with a solder iron, and connecting all these patterns together and once they're blown up it will be a big balloon," said Jessica Burham, a third year UVA student.   

If you want to check out the creatures, the group will start its walk outside Campbell Hall at 6:30 p.m.
