Waynesboro Police Department

The Waynesboro Police Department has arrested a Waynesboro man on five counts of sexual assault on a juvenile female that occurred over a two and a half year period, beginning in June 2010. Terry Ray Crouse, 46, surrendered him to the Police Department on February 6.
He was charged with the following offenses:
- Aggravated sexual battery – felony
- Forcible sodomy – felony
- 2 counts of animate object sexual penetration – felony
- Sexual battery – misdemeanor
The victim, who was in her early teens when the sexual abuse began, recently informed her family who then immediately reported it to the Police Department on January 19. The victim and Crouse are acquaintances.
Crouse is being held without bond at Middle River Regional Jail. He is due in Waynesboro General District Court on February 8 for an advisement hearing.
