Western Albemarle Boys Win Jefferson District Regular Season Title

The Western Albemarle HS boys basketball team won at Charlottesville 58-31 Wednesday night. That coupled with a Fluvanna 72-60 loss at Monticello gave the Warriors the Jefferson District regular season championship.

Western Albemarle finishes with a district record of 8-2 and will be the top seed for the upcoming district tournament. Fluvanna and Monticello finished 7-3.
