A handful of dreamers in the valley are finding out what it takes to make their dreams come true.
The Staunton Creative Community Fund hosted a small business class Tuesday night. The class covered everything that goes into establishing a small business, from writing a business plan to what you can expect once you've taken the leap.
The director of the class, Christina Cain, says one critical thing is knowing if your dream is a good fit.
"One of the biggest reasons why businesses don't succeed is because it's a wrong fit for the person, and unfortunately a lot of people will lose a lot of time and a lot of money figuring that out," Cain said.
The fund says that's one of the many areas where they can help, with workshops and one-on-one consultations.
