Waynesboro Man Pleads Guilty to Failing to Register as Sex Offender

Franklin Wood, 27, pleaded guilty Tuesday in Waynesboro Circuit Court to three counts of failing to register as a sex offender.

He could face a year in prison for those convictions. Wood may also be looking at another five years for possession of a firearm by a violent offender.

The case will go before a grand jury in March.
